itemis AG is an independent IT consultancy company that assists its customers in implementing state-of-the-art development methods. The core competence of itemis lies in its implementation of Model Driven Architecture (MDA) using the open source tools AndroMDA and openArchitectureWare. The clients of this company founded in 2003 include Deutsche Post, E-Plus, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, T-Systems, Volkswohlbund and Continentale Versicherung.
itemis at the research project
itemis is a member of the Eclipse Foundation as add-in-provider. The company supports the Eclipse GMF project openArchitectureWare and openCM3. In addition, itemis is cooperating with the Department of Information Technology at the University of Applied Sciences in Dortmund, Germany to develop a unified, Eclipse-based platform for the model-driven development of embedded systems.
